Psychotherapy for individuals, couples, family, adults, adolescents and children.
Lori Vance, lcsw, atr
Since 1985, Lori has been an outpatient psychotherapist and and art psychotherapist working with people at all life stages. An engaged and supportive partner, she creates a safe space for clients to access their innate wisdom and move toward positive life choices.
Her approach is influenced by trust:
In people's inherent goodness and creativity; capacity for resilience, knowledge of what works for them, ability to access resources, and connection to community systems such as family, work, neighborhood, friends, schools, and places of worship.
That life is full of opportunities, full of joy and pain, unpredictable, and fully-connected.
In her many years as a therapist, Lori has had the privilege of walking side by side with clients as a companion, a light-holder, a guide, or a coach, often turning to creative tools as a way to gain greater understanding and support the path of change.
Lori is also a visual artist and former director of a local non-profit arts organization serving youth in our community.
